Not sure when this question was asked, but I've been having terrible shortness of breath on Lexapro. Especially while coming down from 20mg to 5mg, which is where I am now. I've been doing it slow, but I developed shortness of breath that would last for hours. I've been to the ER 4 times for it. I thought for sure I had something wrong with my heart. Even saw a pulmonologist and was cleared. I'd be curious to know your symtpoms. Please email me at GARY1RN at yahoo dot com. Gary
I hope this helps someone.. I was having shortness of breath while taking birthcontrol pills. It would get so bad at some points I thought id pass out.. Although it didnt hurt to breath in, I felt like i couldnt catch my breath. If you are experiencing pain upon breathing in or leg swelling with shortness of breath go to the ER right away. If not, try finishing your pack and waiting a few days.. youll see that you can breath normally again. Don't panic, but let your doctor and pharmacist know about your symptoms. This is what happened to me. I see my doctor next week.. I pray to God she believes me, they seem to think BC pills are sent from heaven or something.
because they thought above ground travel was too dangerous and expensive.

No, the opposite. Caffeine reduces the incidence of developing liver disease. Originally, this observance was only statistical, and though the answer as to "why" caffeine lowers the risk of disease of the liver isn't totally known, it is thought to be because for some reason it eliminates oxidative stress upon the organ.

1. Straight-laced religious people who didn't like people to have fun. 2. City fathers who thought theatres caused congestion, and helped spread crime and disease.
Although we think of caffeine in coffee as the "wake-me-up" chemical, chronic use of it may cause fatigue, headache, moodiness, and depression in some people. Because caffeine boosts energy through increasing the production of ATP, the basic unit of energy production in your body, one school of thought suggests that chronically stimulating this system may deplete it, sort of like overworking the soil in farmland. Recommendation: If you are a caffeine junkie (more than 3 cups of coffee a day) and can't get through the day without your coffee fix, you may be promoting your fatigue with caffeine and need a rest period. Go slowly with your reduction to zero caffeine to avoid developing overwhelming sleepiness and a bad headache.Doctors Complete Guide Vitamins Minerals by Mary D Eades MD, page 324

While not often thought of as a drug, caffeine is the most commonly used drug in America. Ethanol (alcohol) and nicotine (in tobacco products) are the next most commonly used. As for illegal drugs, cannabis is the most widely used.
Could be. I just had an ache in my shoulder and elbow along with a fluttery feeling. I think a heart attack can present different in everybody and depends on where the blockage is. I thought mine was just muscle strain from the day before. Be on the safe side and go to the ER and find out. Better an ER bill than dead.
