Should 12 year olds wear makeup?

Ok, i am 11 (almost 12) in 6th grade. A lot of my friends wore make-up that were a year ahead of me, when they were in grade 6. so wearing a little make-up is GREAT for any girl that wants to try and if its ok with mom/dad/gaurdian. don't wear make-up if under 10.As you now know, im almost 12 in grade 6! And this is what kind of make-up i wear everyday now:1. Eye-shadow (any color that's allowed, i use a medium brown color, GORGEOUS)

2. Mascare (clear is pretty but Brown/black mascara is really cute, just don't put tooo much!)

3. Lipgloss!!! (its easy, cute, and good for your lips!)

That's what i wear everyday now!! Its easy, simple, cute, and noticeable.

11 year olds and 12 year olds, TRY MY MAKE-UP STYLE!!!

P.S. don'T use concealers and all that!!! but always wash your face at night with water and a rag or special store bought wipes. Hope i Helped!!!!

I am 11, about to turn 12 in July, but I'm super tall (5'7) and I look much older (at least 13/14). My mom won't let me wear make-up. I usually sneak in a cover-up, because I have clear skin but it's a little shiny and VERY freckley. Most of my friends wear makeup, and they look gorgeous, NOT trampy. All I want to wear is foundation, (in addition to powder cover-up) a little black mascara, a little bit of dark brown eyeliner to match my hair, and a VERY light coat of brown/tan eyeshadow to compliment my bright green eyes. Is this too much to ask for? Please comment, thanks for reading(:

Probably not, as it could effect their personal appearance in the future.

I don't think that it's necessary, but do what you like and do what makes you feel comfortable. But don't wear too much.

it is perfectly okay for a 12 year old BOY to wear make up, its his decision if i was him though i wouldn't wear make up especially is his only 12 years old , it would ruin his skin. you know Edward Cullen from twilight he wears makeup and his like 20+ of course he only wears make up on the set of twilight to bring out his character as a vampire really good. he probably doesnt wear make up in real life. but the 12 year old boy your referring to can do whatever he likes he can wear make up however if he goes to public and shows his wearing make-up he may suffer some teasing, bullying.

That depends on whether you would let a 12 year old girl wear make-up. It is alright for men to wear make-up, but some people don't approve of younger people wearing it.
