Should I be mad at my crush for saying lol after telling him I like him because he asked?

It's understandable that you're mad at him. You were pouring out a bit of your heart to him, and he didn't take you seriously. What you did was brave and the last thing you want to do is be laughed at! But here are some things you should keep in mind:
1) He's a boy. Boys don't like pouring out their own hearts, so it's very likely he said "lol" because he was uncomfortable or because he was afraid you weren't being serious. Maybe he thought you were joking or were being sarcastic. He might have been trying to stop himself from getting his own feelings hurt (imagine if he'd said "I like you too" and you'd said "I don't really! I was kidding!" Ouch!)
2) Saying "lol" might not be a bad thing! It could mean anything! Maybe he said "lol" because he thinks you're cute for saying you like him, or because it made him happy. You would get all giggly if someone told you they liked you, wouldn't you? I know I would! Maybe he said "lol" because he was surprised and didn't ever think you would like him in that way. Maybe he's thinking, "Oh, my gosh! She likes me! I'm the luckiest boy in the world!"
3) Maybe he's playing it cool. Your crush might like you as much as you like him - maybe even more! - but he might not want to scare you away. Imagine if he'd said to you: "Oh, my gosh! Really? I've been in love with you for, like, seven months! I've been praying every night that you'd feel the same way about me but I never thought it would come true! I love you!" That would be kind of weird, wouldn't it?
4) Maybe he's playing hard to get. Maybe your crush is the type of person who likes to be chased. Some people like to be the chaser, some people like to be the ones being chased. Maybe he really is praying that you'll catch up with him eventually!
Keep chasing him. It might take a while, but it will give him time to grow up and realise that you really meant it all along. I wish you the best of luck.
