Yes, that is a good idea. After exfoliating, you are removing "dead" skin cells, dirt and oils from within your pores. This can leave your skin feeling flaky and dry. Applying a moisturiser leaves your skin with that natural smooth texture.
I would highly recommend that you use a non-comedogenic moisturiser which means it does not clog up the pores in your skin. After all, you don't want to re-clog the pores you just cleaned!
