Headlight bulbs, high and low beam, parking light bulbs, signal light bulbs, brake light bulbs, dash light bulbs, interior light bulbs, plate light bulbs, etc.
Because it is broken
Most likely because one (or more) of the signal light bulbs is burnt out from the fast flashing side. Check them first, replace the burnt bulb, and they should go back to normal. If there are no burnt out bulbs, then you might consider replacing the turn signal relay.
Turn signal bulbs and hazard bulbs are the same bulb. When the turn signal is turned on, the indicator light on the dash flashes in tune with the turn signal. When the hazard lights are turned on, an extra fuse which is live, powers the hazard flashers, even if the car is turned off.
my 2000 Chevy Van's left turn signal is clicking erratically. What should I do? Check your indicator light bulbs as one may be out. There could be an earthing problem if not the bulb.
Normally this happens when one of the bulbs is burnt out. Make sure all bulbs are working.
The light bulbs in them burn out or there is a loose connections somewhere. Suggest you check.
1187 bulb
One of the bulbs are broken, check all of your turn signals.
Remove the light assy then turn the bulbs countereclockwise to remove the bulbs.
If you have the 3rd light working, then you already have a brake signal going to the back of your van. This eliminates the fuse & switch. I would check the bulbs again. I've seen bad bulbs that looked good. make sure the bulbs are correct for the vehicle.. make sure they are installed correctly.
It should be the same type of bulbs that are in the side marker lights. They should be #194 bulbs if memory serves.
