No. They start the prayer by standing up, saying "Allah hu akbar" (God is greatest), then reciting Surah al-Fatihah and a few verses or short Surah. Then, they bow (stand with hands on knees and back flat) and say "Subhan rabbi al azeem" (Glorified is my Lord, the Great) three times. They stand back up and say "Samia Allah leman hamidah" (God listens to him who praises Him). Then, after saying "Allah hu akbar", they bow down, with forehead touching the ground. They say , "Subhan rabbi al aala" (Glory to God, the Exalted), three times. They sit up, ask God for mercy, then repeat the bowing position (sujood), saying "Allah hu akbar" in between positions.
This is one "rakaa". Prayers are different length rakaas. Some are 2, some are 4, and Maghrib prayer, at sunset, is three.

(2) Ending a Quarrel: A Muslim is permitted to lie to help two people reconcile their differences, i.e. telling one party that the other has apologized when they have not in order to ease tensions.
(3) Religious Discrimination Against Muslims: Muslims are allowed to lie about their beliefs if they fear imminent discrimination on account of their beliefs. This is called Taqiyya and has much more prevalence in Shiite Islam and minority schools because those Muslims were more likely to be targeted for religious discrimination by Sunni Muslim or other groups.
