The comic books are generally harmless for mature youngsters. I can see some potential for theological harm as in a sense Superman has pseudo-Religious overtones. as do many superheroes and sadly , Many Disney characters. Superman comics do not directly attack religion ( a forbidden practice under the Comics code) but there are all sorts of not so sly digs against religion in Disney cartoon films and other junk from the Mousetro. I do not think Superman comics- like most Science Fiction, are in themselves harmful.
