Putting the ethical and moral issues aside, the reality is a minor cannot take custody of any person's child, regardless of the circumstances. Even an adult cannot legally take custody of a child without following the proper procedures. Who receives custody of an infant in such a situation is decided by a judge not the mother. It is preferable that said infant be placed with a family member who qualifies under DSS regulations. If that is not possible the infant will be made a ward of the state and placed in a foster home. I Don't think that they should!! How exactly would they be supporting the child that they have taken in and what would they do with the expense's of the child that the took in like the the daycare, diapers, milk and clothes, shoes and ther need that the baby would have.
could be for life
They would likely first try to place the baby with a member of the mother's family, or a foster home.
No, Mother Teresa did not go to jail.
Elvis Duran's mother is not in jail, It was Elvin who was in jail for three years for forgery.
You should try.....
he should not be in jail why should he be in jail
No she didn't they had very few laws back then but she should have
The suggestion given that the baby was born in jail is that the baby is surprised by the sunlight. It is as if the baby had never seen the sun before.
Yes. Well most of the time she can but sometimes she cant it depends why she went to jail
She is going to jail cuz of multiple charges and have her baby in jail.
Only a judge can send you to jail. Your girlfriend's mother can only request the police to evaluate the situation.
"Why was Sean Kingston mother sent to jail?
tupac mother had him when she was in jail
Who is in jail? If the child is in jail, they have custody. If the adult is in jail, they should never get custody. If the spouse is in jail they should not get custody. Jail would have no bearing on the time of custody, just who should be able to even see the child.
"The Scarlet Letter" is a work of fiction. Everyone knows the baby was born in jail because it was not kept a secret. The entire town knew what was happening and why Hester was in jail.
no, but his mother was pregnant with him while she was in jail, she was released before he was born though
Hester Prynne's baby was not costumed to sunlight, which suggests that it was born in the dark jail.
No he is a minor just like that baby will be. That boys mother has all control of him. If he got arrested he cant go to jail because he is a minor. Its his choice not to take care of it. The person who gave this answer is an idiot and I'm surprised they can even work a computer. 16 year olds go to jail all the time and yes if they have a child they can be made to pay child support.
yeah, of course they can. yes ..... Child abuse should never happen and yes, anybody can -and should- go to jail for it. So if you are a victim of abuse or know someone who is, do not hesitate to report the facts to the police immediately.
The government, state or federal, that has custody of the mother. Usually, a child born to a mother while incarcerated can be given to someone of the mother's choosing, with permission of a court. If no one is available, the child becomes a ward of the government.
yes chris's mom knows he is in jail... she was the one who bailed him out of jail... but might put him on house arrest....
