Bearded Dragons are a desert species - requiring only drinking water. They have no need for a waterfall, as it serves no actual purpose other than something nice for you to look at.

You certainly don't need the waterfall - Bearded dragons are desert creatures - they don't need high humidity, which is what the waterfall would create !

the bearded dragon can easily accidentally eat the sand while eating crickets. if it eats too much it can get impacted with the sand and die. its also possible for the sand to get stuck in the cloaca while defecating or in the eyes.
