The tongue does not grow but it is stuck out in the air so it can cool off. The dogs don't sweat much so that is how they cool down. The tongue is wet and breathing hard over the tongue cools it.
Dogs pant to regulate their body temperature - similar to why people sweat.
yes it should be warm
Because they are so fliping hot!
to cool off
They do it when the weather outside is hot, they just exercised, or they're excited.
Unlike humans, one of the few places that dogs can sweat is their tongues.By keeping their tongues out dogs can cool down.
They do it through their paws by sweating and panting with their tongues.
Dogs have a high body temperature and they hang their tongues out to let heat out through their tongues. Salivating (producing spit or saliva) helps cool the dog when its tongue is hanging out. It's like their way of sweating. They have no sweat glands except for on their tongues so they poke their tongue out to cool off.
A wiener stick is a skewer-type utensil used for cooking hot dogs.
If you can hear it breathing heavily or panting and its tongue is sticking out, then it is just hot. Its what my dog does too. But if it isn't hot, then I don't know, maybe it likes having its tongue out.........
because they are natural casing hot dogs that they use
Dogs cannot sweat, so they use their tongues and saliva in the same way. The slaiva evapoarates with a cooling effect, helping to keep the poor critter's temperature down.
Dogs don't perspire from the heat the way that humans do. It is their way of the body trying to cool down. If a dog is panting (breathing fast, heavy) when its tongue is out, summer OR winter, it is a sign that the dog needs water or it will become dehydrated.
because they wanted to get laid
