Should a girl call a guy who gave her his number when they first met and if so how long should she wait to call?

Hey. This is coming from a guy just so you know. Alot of times guys will be shy even though the don't act like it so alot of the time a guy will give you his number instead of getting yours it sorta a way to see if the girl is even a littel intrested at lest so they are less likely to be hurt. You should wait a few days at lest befor calling you don't want to give him the impression that your easy but yet don't wait over two weeks becouser that can send the impression that your just not intrested at all but mostly follow your heart and do what you feel comfy doing.

I usually will give my number to a guy I like who asks for it and not ask for his, so he can choose to call if he's interested, the ball is in his court (because I'm shy too). I think it shows you have other options if he doesn't call and you won't sit moping around waiting for them to call,so if they really want to go out with you they willl call sooner rather than later. But if it's the other way don't call too soon because you may look needy and desperate but not too late either. May make them think they are a last resort or you aren't interested, they may have even met someone else. So I'd say maybe a few days later, 3, 4-5?
