The economy is in recession, banks are going under, taxes are going up, automakers shutting down for the month of Jan. People are losing their jobs and houses. But people who supposedly work "for" us get an annual 5000 dollar raise, because "we have to pay to keep the good ones working for us". Hmmm. how about if we cut their salary in half to balance the budget. They work about half the time anyway. We can make their pay commensurate to what they actually do. They don't work for us, they work for themselves, to grab all they can get, and get out before they get caught.
