No cause' it's hair is and looks cook
a shih tzu has two coats the lower coat is curly while the top coat is long and straight
At 12 months it should be hitting the floor but that does not mean its fully grown into a full coat the shih tzu will have its full think double coat at about 2-3 year depending on hair type. now the hair above the nose is a different story it will be able to going a rubber band at about 6-7 months but wont be fully grown out till around 1-2 years. i am currently growing out y shih tzu puppy now and have a ale eho is full grown he has a full think double coat which is hard to remove mats because there's only minimal grooming aloud on a show shih tzu as far as cutting the hair so all mats have to be brushed, conditioned out.
about 9months- a year
The small, hairy, short-legged dog is the Shih Tzu (originally from China).
Yes. When I first got my male shih tzu (he was 12 weeks old), he had very dark brown markings and white fur, but now (he is 2 years old) he has very light tan and white fur. The brown markings faded.
An average Shih tzu weighs 25 pounds but it depends on the type and gender.
Your dog could have a skin infection, and alot of other diseases. Take your dog to the vet asap:) Best of luck! <3
You get shih-poo puppies? Sorry if this isn't the answer you're looking for but i think that you should be more specific...
Shih Tzus can be a combination of black, white, brown, tan or just black or white. Shih Tzus can be many different colors, but the most common combination is brown with white and tan. Also their coats can get very long so if you have one with long fur you should comb it every other day or else it will get about a million knots. Oh, and their coat can get dirty very easily so try to be clean! The-End!!! :)
they were called the lion because they started inChina and they looked similar to a lion.they were royalty they were the guardian of Buddha but then he got shot (I'm not Buddhist i have a pekingese)
Your Shih Tzu may be losing control of its bodily functions. You should consult a veterinarian for a proper diagnosis though.
A Shih Tzu can live for about 10 to approximately 16 years depending on care. This dog is a toy breed that is known for its flat face and fluffy coat.
