Absolutely not! Tell your tutor or someone you trust what is going on and they will help you with deferrals and the such like, if all else fails deffer your studies for a semester. The liberation you will feel after completing the court case will help you heal from years of abuse, the perpetrator (or husband ) will possibly learn a little from your strength and resolve that he cannot bully you or other women in the future, this may result in his life falling apart but the alternative is you feeling guilty for the rest of your life. I dropped out of university for 1 year and went on to get a 2:1 my ex husband who abused me for seven years went on to fail at every thing he ever did after I left him and the full weight of the law supported me and justified my decision to leave. Keep strong and keep on it will soon be part of your recovery history.

I currently take 3 courses and I am a stay at home mom. The courses keep me very busy. There is a lot of people that do not like online courses due to them not having that classroom interaction. The classroom interaction that you get is through a discussion board. Look into it.
