not enough of them
Another Opinion...While animals deserve reasonable protection against abuse, they do not have legal "rights" in the same way humans do. The US courts have upheld the concept that with the granting of rights also comes the responsibility of duties. Since animals cannot reasonably be expected to carry out any duties, they are also accordingly denied rights.
This does not give humans any legal standing in cases of abuse. In the same way animals cannot have rights, humans DO have duties and responsibilities. Most US communities do not allow a person to have a poorly kept, extremely unkempt or dangerous residence; similarly, humans are not allowed to abuse animals to the point of starvation, thirst, disease, and/or death. While I am a firm believer in animal welfare, I do not believe animals have rights, nor should they.
Yes i think that animals should have rights because we are just another species of animals.
Animals should not have Human Rights BEFORE or IF we ever invent a device that can help us communicate with them.
The Onion News Network - 2007 Should Animals Be Doing More for the Animal Rights Movement was released on: USA: 9 December 2007
no animals should not be ligalised because they should also have rights
No, but they should have some.
The concept of "rights" is foreign to animals, just ask one. Treat animals with respect, and admire them for their beauty. Realize the fact that there is a food chain. The animals do.
i think humans are superior then animals because if we didn't have animals to test on then we would have to test on our selves and more human would die from the chemical test and animals need humans to live so they can live.
They should be arrested because animals has the same rights as humans
El Salvador is a country and does not have opinions. Some El Salvadorian people may believe animals have rights others do not.
Yes because they are as important as humans
they believe that animals should suck my dick
They are more relevant to all rights than just animals.
