Yes, you can place two of the same age together. Be careful though, because if they are different genders they may breed. To tell if it is male or female, gently flip over the bearded dragon and look for bumps just before it's tail. One bump means means female; two means male.

If you do not want another cage you can put an adult and a baby together, but you should put something up in the cage so that the baby can have privacy from the adult. It is not okay if the adult hurts the baby on purpose. If that happens Separate them.

You should never house 2 beardies together. 1 dragon per cage is best and even then you might have to move the cages so the beardies can't see each other. They will stress each other out! If breeding put your beardies together for 1 hour then split them apart again
