Yes, both injectors must work. If one isn't look for a broken wire or clog.
TBI.... Throttle Body Injection... The Injectors are right there in opening of the throttle body. There are not individual injectors for each cylinder. There 2 or 4 injectors that spray the gas right on top the throttle plate. The entire manifold is filled with the gas/air mixture.
It should have 19# injectors from the factory... They are all 19#/hr injectors. After 1998 the only change in the injectors was the spray pattern. The later model injectors do not flow more, but they do have a better spray pattern.
Fuel pressure fuel injectors ECM and various sensors
You may have fuel pressure but not enough. Have the fuel pressure tested with a gauge, it should read between 60 to 66 psi for the injectors to work. Also check the fuses to be sure none are blown.
Need to remove the air filter top and look down in the top of the TBI. It looks like a carburetor but it is not. It is called a throttle body injection. You will see 2 injectors that spray fuel in the engine Start it up and look UNDER STAND.
Yes
GM throttle body injectors can be visually seen while operating. Remove the air cleaner assembly to expose the injectors. With the engine runningat an idle, they should have a nice umbrella shaped spray of fuel coming out. If one is dripping instead of spraying, it is probably bad. If one is dry, try swapping connectors with the other to see if the condition stays the same or moves over to the other injector.
If it's a 95 then you don't have a carburetor, you have TBI, or Throttle Body Injection. This basicly means that there are two injectors that spray fuel into the throttle body sitting on top of your intake plenum. To see if they are spraying fuel just have someone turn over the truck while you watch the injectors. Don't forget to takeoff the air cleaner housing first!
In the throttle body were the filter is it should work.....
Bad fuel pump?
there should be a fuel injector rail with them on it you should be able to find a spray cleaner at an auto shop like autozone, advanced auto parts, Etc. do not go for a liquid one you need the spray.
i dont know what is wrong with it . it gets fuel to the tbi but it wont spray through the injectors at all I had an 88' Silverado that did it too. I replaced both injectors on the TBI and it worked fine. The injectors cost me about 50 bucks each.
