You should put both hands on the streeing wheel. One hand is like on middle of the streeing wheel and the other will be the same.

you have to take the horn cover off, unscrew the nut, and either use a steering wheel puller or your hands. You can place both your hands on the underside on both sides and hit upwards.

If the backing has butterfly clips, both clips must be squeezed together in order to get the backing to release from the stud.
you have to remove both rear wheels ,remove brake drums, remove brake shoes,loosen brake hose or metal line and remove, remove bolts holding wheel cylinders to backing plate and replace, clean backing plate and hardware and reinstall all in reverse order, adjust rear brake and bleed system to remove air from lines.
