YES, cell phones should be banned while driving. Because they have been to many wrecks in the past years or months of people talking on the phone behind the wheel of the car. In the past months about 40 to 200 people gets into car crash by talking on the cell phone, and running a red light on the phone can cause you to get a ticket or can make you get into to many wrecks that will make you lose your life by talking on the cell phone.

∙ 14y agoyes it should because someone could get seriously hurt, or even their own kids. the only way someone could get a hold to you would by calling you if you are on the side or in the passenger seat but not behind the whee, because if you drive you would probably drive aggressive and get into a major bad wreck or get a ticket and probably get sent to jail or go to house arrest.

So even though using cell phones while driving can lead to accidents, there are people who believe they are able to drive even though they are also doing something else. "Distracted driving" is a major cause of accidents, and although some people think it will never happen to them, it certainly could happen, usually when they least expect it. That is why these people should be concentrating on the road, rather than talking on their cell phone.
