I'm going to have to offer a personal opinion here- that all depends on the child, the adults, and the culture/environment you are in. I grew up in a rural area where hunting and fishing were an everyday part of life- not only as sport, but for food. We also raised much of our food, including livestock. By the age of 10 I was hunting, understood where sausage and bacon came from- and it was understood as an ordinary, normal part of life. As such, there was no emotional trauma associated with it. However, if a youngster has been insulated from that, the killing of animals in a hunt may be a traumatic event. Some 10 year olds are sufficiently mature to use a firearm under the direct guidance of an adult (one of my granddaughters began shooting with me at age 10) Some are not mature enough at 18. Again, it will depend on the persons and the circumstances- there is no "One size fits all" answer- but a good question.
Children should be taught to listen so they can know what to do when something is what they have to do.
It would be pretty neat and useful if your children learned a secound language but not all children should be taught a second language it's really the child's parents decision!!
Children must be taught never to play with matches, lighters, fireworks, gasoline, and cleaning fluids.
The history and existence of hate crimes should be taught in school, so we can raise aware and tolerant children for the future.
Children should be taught by parents how to behave.
Well if children are ages 10+ then it's good for them to know what it is and how it works.
The Inuit's did get education but their education was how to go hunting or how to make clothing. Inuit children would get taught by their elders or their parents the things they will need to know to survive when their older. Now days, Inuit children get taught by teachers and go to school, just like normal kids.

No, the sentence "I learned the children" is not correct grammatically. You should say, "I taught the children" to convey that you are the one who did the teaching.
Yes If they were a female, they were taught to mend and do housework. If the were male, they were taught the trade their father was involved with. If they had no father or no mother, then they would be taught by close relatives. If they got good enough in their trade, at age at least ten, they were allowed to work. Did that answer your question?
The phrase B40 refers to acts related to smoking and drinking. It is a slang term that children should not be taught and should not be spoken by children.
