When children are "exposed" to firearms by a responsible adult or parent; taught the correct ways to handle them - i.e. check to see if loaded, when, where and how to use them and the inherent dangers presented by firing a firearm; when all of these criteria are taught, learned and relearned - children should be well enough educated that they will NOT PLAY with guns. It is irresponsible, lazy and unconcerned adults and parents who allow children to "play" with guns, with the inherent possibility of tragedic outcomes. NO concerned ADULT firearms owner will ever allow his or others' children to PLAY with firearms. A good starting point to familiarize children with all aspects of firearms is to enroll them in the "EDDY EAGLE" program sponsored and presented by NRA trained and certified instructors.
because they might hurt themselves.
No, 11 is the minimum age to play, and paintball guns are not lethal.
no definately not!
Fear and ingnorance.
bb guns.
No. They play archery with bows and arrows. They play with guns but change the name.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, it should not be OK to buy guns for their children. It's not OK because it could encourage children to play with real guns. Or they could pick up a real gun and think it's fake and might actually kill someone. It would turn out badly because there are some extremely violent children and parents don't care at all. They might grow up and kill someone with a real gun and get addicted. These fake toys could be very dangerous because kids could be play some violent games and get addicted to the characters style and want to use the style in real life with these fake guns, and later when they grow up, they might want to use real guns and kill people. Kids might go up to strangers and point the toy gun up at them and get kidnapped.
Children should be taught what guns are, and to leave them alone unless they are with a responsible adult. And since children do not always listen, firearms should be securely stored under lock.
They are not necessary for learning and guns toys or not are violent things. We want our children to learn to solve problems without shooting someone and allowing toy guns gives the wrong message.
Yes, we should keep our guns in safes because it is safe from the reach of children and thieves also. This is safe place for us. Now there are a lot of different variety safes available in market.
If its younger children then, you should make them play the Ultimate Safe Chat.
