"Lortab" is the brand name for a hydrocodone and acetaminaphen combination drug. It is marketed under several other brand names. It acts on the opiate receptors in the body. Long term use of a drug such as this can lead to dependance (addiction).
Pharmacies do not recommend using Lortab (Hydrocodone) one year past the issue date.
Time to wait to take Lortab after SuboxoneI have been on Suboxone for 11 months. I had to have surgery 4 months ago and was taking 6mgs. Suboxone per day. Before I decided to take Lortab post-op I discussed this with my pharmacist. I was told that one can safely take Lortab 3-4 hours after last Suboxone dose. I decided to go ahead and tolerated the Lortab very well. Conversely, the same time is needed to resume taking Suboxone.
Yes it will, as long as it was only one lortab it should be gone in 3-4 days....
That's actually a null question...the question should be, "Why should I take two Lortab 7.5/500s instead of four 5/500s?" The answer to THAT question is, unless directed by your physician, you should not take more than 1000mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen) at one time, so that you can avoid liver damage. Also, do not take more than 4000mg of Tylenol in a 24 hour period. As a side note, hopefully you are asking about this medication because you have severe and/or chronic pain, and not for the "high" of which some speak!
These tablets are almost equianalgesic, meaning they almost have the same amount of ability to relieve pain. It depends on the person because different medication work differently for different people, but one or two Tylenol #3 should be roughly equal to one Lortab 10 mg.
If you are taking Lortab under a doctor's precription, you have nothing to worry about. Just take the medicine vial with you when you go for testing.
About one year.
I do not believe that two Tylenol 3s equals one 7.5 Lortab in potency. Codeine is significantly less potent than hydrocodone. Actually, hydrocodone has been found to be more potent, milligram for milligram, than morphine when taken orally. It would probably take up to 4 or more Tylenol 3s to equal one 7.5 Lortab in pain killing potency, and you must be careful of the acetaminophen.
They would both come with an ingredient list. Read that very carefully.
I highly recommend that you take either one one them within your junior year in high school.
For a year. If they really struggled in the first year maybe take extra lessons the following year.
No. Lortab, like most other opiates, are only detectable for 72 hours after last use.
