oh im so sorry is youre hamster old mine was when it started losing hair. i would defanetly check up with a vet. happened like three years ago. my hamster did live past that though. dont give it treats i hear it is bad for its health im sorry i dont know what it means.some vets do help hamsters mine was a black bear

∙ 14y agoAs hamsters grow older they are likely to loose some fur. Most loose it behind their ears. Often their fur thins out as they grow older. A little bit of thinning or fur loss is nothing to worry about. If it is an excessive amount and you think that your hamster could be ill then I would advise you to take him to the vets as soon as possible. It could be a cause of stress, which hamsters can also suffer from.
