I am the one who submitted this question;
I have BAD irregular periods and it causes me not
to have a period for around 2-4 months at a time.
I stopped my Birth Control in April 08'; so it's been
a little over a year. I don't understand it.
How am I supposed to get pregnant if I don't
have a period. I don't know when to track anything
or when I am ovulating. I feel like giving up; I don't
stress about it or make myself sick over not being
able to conceive but...it does upset me a little bit.
I am young, this should be easy. Right?
My fiance and I have been trying for almost 13 months.
I was on the pill; I switched kinds throughout the 3-4 years
I was on it; and then I stopped it, altogether.
My doctor said that sometimes irregular periods are normal;
but I don't think so.
I could see if I had stopped my birth control and my cycle was
messed up from that. But it's been 13 months!
D:
Please help me, or give me some advice.
I really need it

Yes you can become pregnant a week after you have stopped taking birth control pills.
It can take up to three months for your period to return after stopping hormonal birth control such as depo provera or the pill. Any longer than this and you should talk to your doctor. Even if you do not have your period, you can still become pregnant so should take precautions if you are not trying to conceive.
Yes you will have great chances of becoming pregnant now. It usually takes 3-7 days after stopping birth control to be able to become pregnant.
Yes. If you do not wish to become pregnant you should always use a condom and/or a reliable method of birth control.
Can you get pregnant on xanax? Absolutely. There are no birth control properties in xanax. Should you take xanax if you become pregnant? No, unless your doctor says you should. Even then, I wouldn't. From a nursing perspective.
Well some doctor's say it may take up to a year after you stop taking a contraceptive in reality it is likely that you may become pregnant after two normal periods, Ex: the normal day, length, time it starts, ect.
Yes. You should be using condoms or an effective birth control method if you do not wish to become pregnant.
Yes it is OK to stop the pill any time that you want. By stopping the pill you will be able to become pregnant.
No, birth control is intended to prevent pregnancy. You can become pregnant while on birth control, as no method is 100% effective, but it isn't the birth control that makes you pregnant.
It's very unlikely but if you do not wish to become pregnant you should always use a condom and/or a reliable birth control method.
It is possible for a girl to become pregnant from pre-cum or small amounts of semen that escape from the penis before ejaculation. You should always use a condom or a form of birth control if you do not wish to become pregnant.
