There are many options available. Most of them are controversial to varying degrees. Adoption is probably the most common option. The adoption can be anywhere on the scale from a legally sanctioned private adoption to a completely informal adoption (not a very good idea). In some cases, one of the women may simply have a non-committed sexual relationship with a man in order to get pregnant.
With modern technology, lesbians have many more options than they used to. Whatever option they choose, there are many legal problems for homosexual parents. It is important to ensure that BOTH parents have legal custody of the child. There have been some very sad situations where one parent has died or lost custody of the child for some reason, and the other parent has had no rights to the child. In this situation, the child's custody will go to the legal parent's next of kin, who can legally make the decision to separate the child permanently from its parents, even against the child's will. This type of situation will continue to happen until America (and other countries) allows EVERYONE the right to legally marry their partners, regardless of their gender or orientation.
Yes, lesbians can have babies since a lesbian is still a woman. While she and her girlfriend/wife/partner cannot both be the biological parents yet, a lesbian or a single woman can be artificially inseminated and have a baby like nearly any other woman.
One lesbian cannot impregnate another lesbian. Only a man's sperm and a woman's egg can create a baby. However, many lesbian couples have families because a woman can get sperm from a sperm bank, or any man and have it injected into her uterus. The biological father of the baby has no legal rights to the child and the lesbian couple serve as the parents of the child.

∙ 12y agoI don't think that lesbians should adopt children because their children might think it is right to be gay or lesbian. Homosexuality is very wrong and should never be done but people make choices and they will have to face GOD for their actions
its up to them whether gay people adopt children and its up to them to whether they love the same sex i wouldn't advise it but people make different decisions .... so thays how it is and that's life
Why shouldn't they? There are so many children out there who need loving parents! Who cares what their gender or sexual orientation is? Love is love, and God is love. Where there is love, there is God. Homosexuality is no more a choice than heterosexuality (why would anyone choose to be discriminated against, rejected by family and society, etc.?). And the world would be a better place if all children were raised with tolerance instead of hatred.
