I don't think so. I believe that in Europe they have banned animal testing for cosmetics--correct me if I am wrong, please.
It certainly is unnecessary to test animals for a non-essential consumer product. Now if consumers put enough pressure on the guilty companies, many animals will be spared unnecessary suffering.
No Makeup academy do not test on animals. It normally states this on a sign when you pick the makeup academy product up.
yes is it really tested on animals
The product is then proven safe for human use.
theres no exact number of animals that are tested on.
We are not sure. There are many ads that say "not tested on animals" or "tested on animals". We know that all make up products or anything have been tested on animals. All make up products have been tested on animals but we're not sure if they're made from animals unless you include us humans and we are technically animals since we are mammals so yes?
"Finished product is not tested on animals" means that they did not test their FINISHED product on animals. However, Bath and Body Works obtains most of their products or product ingredients from third-party companies (that is, companies that are not owned or operated by Bath and Body Works). Bath and Body Works has NOT received statements from these companies that they do not test the product ingredients on animals. This is why they use the term "finished product" - it's a way to make the reader think that they are really saying their products do not involve animal testing at all. If you want to be certain that animals were not involved in the product's making, look for products that have the little bunny that means CRUELTY FREE. These products are certified as not having had their ingredients or finished products tested on animals and that none of their ingredients are derived from animals. Beware of sellers that use the caption "Cruelty Free" and state their ingredients are not derived from animals -- that does NOT mean that they did not test on animals; it only means that they did not take something from the animal (oils, etc.) and use it as an ingredient.------------------------------------------------------------------------"...look for products that have the little bunny that means CRUELTY FREE.".

Bare Minerals is a brand of powder foundation that promotes itself as being free of chemicals and other impurities. Various vegan beauty lists have Bare Minerals down as being cruelty free, although the company that owns Bare Minerals does do animal testing.
To make sure they are safe for the use of humans. Animal testing should be stopped!! Hope this helps
No, Avon perfume is not tested on animals. Neither are the raw products used to make the perfumes. They have not been tested on animals since 1989.
