Teenagers shouldn't actually date. First of all, they aren't ready to be in a relationship. They can't even do their own laundry yet they wan't to take care of another person? It doesn't make any sense. Secondly, teenage years are the years where they should focus their future career on. What they become in the future is dependant on what they do now. And I wouldn't want to think about how to get a date all the time. Finally, the aftermath. very few people actually have a happy relationship in their teen years and the break-up isn't something a teenager should face yet. In the end, they are really wasting their time and money.
Really, people should start dating around college, where they can find out what they should do in life first and secure their own job and house instead of having their parents driving them on their dates.
However, if they still want to still be around the opposite gender, they should start by being friends with them. They will get use to their different personality and be a little bit more social rather than just wanting to make-out or worse.
