I think Ipods should not be used for kids at school, because it can make them not focus on their work. and if they get asked questions they can miss it. It also can confuse the person your next to. and some of the songs may have swears in it. therefore Ipods should not be used in school they also cause many bad things. such as : ADHD (attention deficult hyperacticity dis-order) wich is a major problem because most of the people who listen to Ipods are children/students.
:I-pods cause hearing problems which are not good for children.
:INSOMNIA...which is when a person had problems sleeping. Evrey child needs sleep....

Students should use respectful and formal language when speaking to teachers in class.
Students should be able to use calculators in math class because it is needed to know how to use a calculator.
electronics should be allowed at school, like kids could use them at lunch, they are not allowed cause people, are wierd. and think that they can have them ? but kids cant ? . yeh we should be able to ! . so. if anyone sees this should think this is right (Y) . THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED . like atleast at lunch or like after school ? . like what is something happens ? . teachers get blamed ? yuppp !. thanks .
Students should get to class promptly and not congregate in the hallway.
I don't think there's been a study, but I cannot see how a distracted student could possibly be more or even as successful as a student who is actually concentrating on the material.
No. There's really no reason a student should ever be distracted from what's going on in class. Some teachers might choose to allow them at certain points... for instance, when the class is supposed to be working independently on something... but even they may be too distracting for some students, and it's very difficult to say "John, you may not use your iPod, but Mary is allowed to." The crucial thing students need to understand is that they are not going to school to be entertained or do whatever they want, they are going to school to learn.
If your asking why shouldn't studentsbring cellular phones to school it's because students want to use their phone during class and that interrupts the class.
If it is in a foreign language class, then that language. If it is a not, than the student should speak appropriate English. There should not be use of conjunctions, proper use of can and may. Politeness should be present in their speaking.
yes . I think it is better to have that method
in Miss Jonsons class all her students are hungry students
I will fully integrate the new students in my class by Friday. We should integrate the screws, with the nuts.
I-pods are bad to use in class especially while a teacher is speaking. It may seem that the students aren't talking to one and other as much and are paying attention but most likely they are paying attention to their music more than the teachers words. Knowing most kids they wont be listening to anything soothing most likely rap or hip hop which draws your mind away from things with the rapper speaking fast and the inappropriate language used. I think I-pods should be aloud during lunch and study hall periods but not during class for the students sake.
