Depending on driving conditions, weather, and the type of bearing, ranging from the press ins, and the whole hub assembly, its possible. I had a car with press ins and every two months was time to buy a new bearing. the major issue with press ins, is that you must put them in centred or they will wear prematurely. and the seals are almost always pinched when you do not take it to somewheres that knows what to do. improper balencing of tires, tire type and many other things included in the entire scheme of steering components act together as one, and if something is not right, even if it isn't the bearing, may cause severe life drop in parts. have the front end alighned check bushings, rubbers and ball joints, becasue they all will kill a bearing before its usually noticed on anything else. turn your wheel while driving to see if the noise stops, whatever way you turn and the humming stops, is usually the side that is faulty. Hope that Helps
