No, the voting age shouldn't be lowered. This is because the young person's mind (ages 17 and below) have not had their brains developed enough to make accurate and reasonable decisions. Younger kids age 17 and/or under cannot make rational decisions that big, since it affects the whole country, not just a small town.

The voting age should be set at 21 years of age. Below this age young people are still too inexperienced to make proper decisions on the type of governement they want that will affect theirlives.
