It depends what you mean: If you mean should people refer to it as just 'red ring', then the answer is no, as it doesn't emphasise the way that it causes the Xbox to effectivfely 'die', meaning that it is no longer usable. Additionally, 'red ring' may be referring to the way that all four lights light up red when the output is not connected to any device (e.g. the Xbox 360 is not plugged into a TV). If you are asking whether Microsoft should stop the red ring from causing the Xbox 360 to stop working, you have been misinformed. The red ring doesn't actually cause the Xbox 360 to break. Instead it is a side-effect or a warning message as a result of a problem with the Xbox 360.
You don't just sell your xbox the buy a ps3. Other words, you cannot fake red ring of death on a Xbox and as the person wrote above stating that you should get a PS3, this is your choice.
Because the PS3 doesn't have a ring, its just a little rectangle.
2 red ring of death means that your xbox overheated so you just have to clean it out its robrably just dirty inside. with it being dirty inside the heat cant get out.
It is not difficult to change a wax ring, but you should consult a plumber to make sure there is no other damage.
Smash it up and buy a ps3 lol :)
Death Ring was created in 1993.
If you take good care of your xbox it should be perfectly fine.
that just means the console is overheated
if you have them ATM them you have encountered the ring of death. i suggest you contact Microsoft and say you have the ring of death, they should then take it away for servicing, bring it back to you, and it will be in working order. don't try to use it when the red ring is on there.
The duration of Death Ring is 1.52 hours.
Yes it can get the "red ring of death"
the new black one. it wont get the red ring of death.
