In my opinion, I think that we should love ourselves and others at the same time. It is nice to put others before yourself, but you must be happy with yourself in order to please other people.

What does your first and last love is self love mean?

It means that whoever is the object of the phrase is seen as selfish and unable to love others... a strongly narcissistic person. Edit from other user: No. It does not mean the object of this phrase is selfish and unable to love others. Especially not narcissistic. What it really means is that, quite literally, the first person you (in the universal sense) love needs to be yourself. To love yourself first (before you can love others). And that your last love is also yourself for the same reason. Self-love is NOT narcissism. Self-Love is to care for yourself and to love yourself as much as you would anyone else.

Do not love others than you?

Loving oneself is essential for personal well-being and self-acceptance, but it doesn't mean neglecting others. Healthy relationships often stem from a strong sense of self-love, allowing individuals to give and receive love authentically. Striking a balance between self-love and love for others fosters deeper connections and mutual support. Ultimately, love can be expansive and inclusive, enriching both individual and communal experiences.

What is the difference among ego proud and self respect?

I believe they are both similar, however self respect is more the appreciation of one's worth or contribution to their community that can be shared with others, whereas pride often tends to be selfish and private. Putting it plainly: the first involves love, the latter - anger. Another view Anger? No. Perhaps self love. Nor is that wrong, if you cannot love yourself why should you expect others to love you? Self respect and pride, especially in yourself, is important. Rejoice in your achievements. Personal things are yours. What do you feel good about?
