If the thermostat is stuck open, the radiator is able to cool the antifreeze faster than the engine can heat it.
Check your antifreeze. When you remove the radiator cap (make sure the engine is cool) there should be some antifreeze at the top of the radiator neck. If you don't see any, then the level may be too low and you'll have to add some antifreeze.
You don't. Wait for the engine to cool down to avoid getting burned before you open radiator cap.
PUT IT IN THE RADIATOR. MAKE SURE YOUR ENGINE IS COOL AND USE THE DRAIN COCKPIT LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR RADIATOR TO DRAIN ENOUGH OF THE FLUID TO ACCOUNT FOR HOW MUCH ANTIFREEZE YOU ARE ADDING.
Remove the radiator cap when the engine is cool and add the coolant into the radiator or you can add to the coolant overflow bottle. DON'T remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot!!!
radiator cap might be leaking
Not sure what you mean by coolant port... Antifreeze can be added to the cap on the passenger side of the radiator if it is low and the reservoir on the driver's side should be filled to the line when cool
In the coolant reservoir when the engine is cool.
There is not one. You just have to loosen the bottom radiator hose and open the fill cap on the antifreeze reservoir when the vehicle is cool.
A 50/50 mixture of water and coolant/antifreeze is highly recommended to avoid freezing and/or rusting within the radiator.
Make sure the engine is cool. Take off the radiator cap that is on the radiator. Pour in a half and half mixture of distilled water and antifreeze unti it is full then replace the radiator cap.
Remove bottom hose from radiator. Remove radiator cap. When water stops running from hose - reconnect to radiator. Fill radiator with water/antifreeze Replace cap + run engine till temp guage reads 90 degrees. Let engine cool. Check fluid level + top up if ness.
