Hi Mandy All bumps or lumps should be checked out by your doctor. It is usually nothing to worry about. People can have fatty tissue (the little lump rolls around when you touch it); bone spurs, or cysts. I think you may have a cyst, but it's usually nothing to worry about. The doctor may want to remove it if the cyst is bothering nerves or blood vessels. This procedure can be done in a clinic or hospital and it doesn't take very long and is usually done under local anesthetic. Please have it checked out so you don't keep worrying about it.
