It is a matter of personal opinion. If you want to be with her, then yes, you can. If you don't, then that's fine. You are not a bad owner if you leave your dog to be put down alone. A dog is a dog, and it doesn't know what's happening, so it won't mind. It will be just like when you leave your dog alone for other reasons, such as: going to work, going to bed, etc. Personally, I am against euthanasia for all reasons. I hope this helps!
