You should always be concerned with any bleeding from anywhere. We are not supposed to bleed. If the blood is deep red it might be serious and you should see a doctor. If it is light red, and if your anus is itchy then it might be piles - haemorrhoids, and you should consult a pharmacist/chemist.

∙ 13y agoNo, bleeding from your anus in never normal. It can be caused by swollen hemorrhoidal veins leaking or a temporary condition from passing something very coarse. It could also be an injury caused by sexual activity. The list is actually longer - ulcers, cancer, etc.
