Wait until the new version of the 3DS XL is out. It will have better 3D support, a second stick, a couple of more buttons, a better battery, and its improved hardware (CPU and RAM) will make it faster. The new 3DS XL will also be able to play games that older 3DS' can't handle, like the port of Wii RPG Xenoblade Chronicles. More titles are sure to be exclusive to the new 3DS, so if you want a system that will play every 3DS game that comes out in the future, you'll need the new 3DS XL when it releases (October in Japan, sometime in 2015 in North America and Europe).
If you are a hardcore fan of the games or like collecting figurines, you should get the special edition, which comes with a figurine. If you are just a casual gamer, stick with the standard version.

When you buy the game it should say on the front cover what version you have got. If you have got the DS version the yours is wild world and if you have got the wii version then yours is city folk. Hope this helps From your bezzie jezzie
The best solution would be the R4i gold edition. To get it working you need to download the 1.41 kernel from r4ids.cn then update with a NDSL or NDS then it should work just like old ones on your dsi. Nintendo updated DSi V1.4.2 version on May 2011. most flashcard were halt. Now the r4i gold V1.4.2 from r4ids.cn and r4i sdhc v1.4.2 from r4i-sdhc.com can support Nintendo DSi V1.4.2 version.
