Buy a nook they are way more efficient!
If you are a voracious reader then buying an e-reader is always a good buy. Compared to the Kindle, the Nook boasts a color screen and web-surfing capabilities.
iBooks, nook, kindle reader: any of these are great apps
first of all it is E-Reader... I don't know about the others but don't get a kindle. I dropped mine from one foot and the screen went out.
The best e reader is the Kindle. I don't own one personally but I have friends that own both the Kindle and the Nook. The Kindles owners are very happy with their purchase.
Currently the top two selling ereaders are Amazon's Kindle and Barnes and Noble's Nook. I personally think that the Kindle is the better buy as the Kindle is a great quality.
You can buy two of the most popular e-readers online. First, you can buy the Kindle directly from www.amazon.com or you can buy the nook from Barnes & Noble at www.bn.com.
There are many subtle differences between the Kindle and the Nook and the "better" choice depends on the features that are most important to you. I would suggest checking out the manufacturer's website for each and looking at the product specs.
Finding the best ebook reader for you depends on your wants and needs for the device. CNET has a useful webpage dedicated to helping you find the appropriate ebook reader for yourself: http://news.cnet.com/kindle-vs-nook-vs-ipad-which-e-book-reader-should-you-buy?tag=contentMain;contentBody Right now, CNET's overall ratings of ebook readers put the Nook Touch Reader at #1 and the Nook Color at #2.
You can buy a quality electronic reader for a reasonable price at amazon.com. It is called Kindle. The Nook Book from Barnes & Nobel is a quality electronic reader for a reasonable price also.
Yes it is, well at least for me it is. With the nook you can buy books anywhere and get thosands free. Also the bottom is a color touchscreen so it easy to use. Go to bn.com and click nook to see the full description. Frankly, I think that the Sony Reader is a cheap copy of a Kindle or a Nook, but it depends on your budget.
Nook. You have much more varieties at the Nook in a slightly higher price. You can surf the web, play to games (sudoku and chess), and you can read many, many books, newspapers, and magazines. You can also get the NookColor, which is touch screen, higher in price, and has the read-aloud capability along with the amenities coming with the Nook. The Kindle however is lower in price, but cannot surf the web, and has no games. All you do is read books, newspapers, and magazines. The Kindle however has a Read-Aloud capability.
Depending on the type of e-reader you own depends on where you can buy books. For the Kindle Amazon would be the place and for the Nook Barnes and Noble. I am not sure about the other e-readers.
