Nook. You have much more varieties at the Nook in a slightly higher price. You can surf the web, play to games (sudoku and Chess), and you can read many, many books, newspapers, and magazines.
You can also get the NookColor, which is touch screen, higher in price, and has the read-aloud capability along with the amenities coming with the Nook.
The Kindle however is lower in price, but cannot surf the web, and has no games. All you do is read books, newspapers, and magazines. The Kindle however has a Read-Aloud capability.
Buy a nook they are way more efficient!
The Nook came well after the Kindle.
Yes it is worth getting a nook or a kindle so you wont have a of books in your room.
first of all it is E-Reader... I don't know about the others but don't get a kindle. I dropped mine from one foot and the screen went out.
iBooks, nook, kindle reader: any of these are great apps
If you are a voracious reader then buying an e-reader is always a good buy. Compared to the Kindle, the Nook boasts a color screen and web-surfing capabilities.
There are many differernce facets about the Nook and Kindle that have to be examined and anyone can put together an argument as to which is better for them. The pricing of the Kindle is a little less than the Nook, however the Nook Tablet has 1 GB of memory versus the Kindle which has only 512 MB. The Kindle is better if you want to purchase exclusively from Amazon, but the Nook is better if you are looking for a more universal experience. I have to recommend the Nook Tablet from my research and from everyone I talk to who has the Fire or Nook. I have placed a "Related Link" with more information from PC World.
The library, amazon.com, or if you have a kindle/ nook from the store located on the kindle/ nook
Kindles and Nooks are both ereaders. The Kindle is manufactured by Amazon and the Nook by Barnes and Noble. They support different file types, but at a similar cost, they are more similar than different.
The kindle is available at amazon.com and is very convient and comes in different sizes. Kindle is 4gb and Nook is 2gb. The Nook is available from Barnes and Nobles and much more expensive.
Both the devices are well built and serve their purpose. Nook has the ability to add an sd card to increase the memory. If you already have many kindle books, you should prefer kindle. if you have purchased books in the barnes and nobles store, you should prefer nook.
Kindle for sure it has more to offer than the Nook & the pricing is totally worth it.
