You close your eyes when you kiss (although most people take a peek every now and then). People normally close their eyes when they kiss because if you don't, you end up staring into each other's eyes while you're kissing, which is really awkward. And the other person's face always looks so weird, because they're making this kissing face, and then you realize that your face must look the same way. So mostly people keep their eyes closed when they're kissing.
