Willows are much faster xp (67-68) but you can only get a 30 gp per log.
Oaks give you about 37 xp and are worth 68 gp each.
From level 15 - 30 ( Using oak tree's to get to Willow Tree's ) you will need - 10,952 XP = 293 oak logs. From level 30 - 60 ( Using Willow Tree's to get to Yew Tree's ) you will need - 260,379 XP = 3,858 Willow Logs. best place to cut is around the draynor village jail.
Cut oak logs
cut logs cut longs and cut more logs once you get enough money flip
best Place To Cut Willows Is By Draynor Bank.
you can burn maple logs on runescape, but you can not cut them. EDIT: actually you can, you need 30 dungeoneering, but there u can cut/burn them.
For this type of question, it is best to use a Runescape skill calculator. Search the Internet for those terms [runescape skill calculator], and enter the required data (your current level, and the activity you plan to do). Please note that cutting yew is not a particularly fast way to get experience. You get woodcutting experience much faster if you cut willow, or oak (I understand willow is faster). The only reason you would cut yew is to earn money while you train.
One of the mysteries of Runescape is that Maple Logs can be burned by all players, but can only be cut by members. There are no Maple trees in the free world, sorry.
I would recommend the grand exchange for beginners, members and free players, because of all the trees and the fact that you can sell your logs, or burn your logs into ashes and then sell them. Another reply: First you should decide what you want to cut. That depends on whether you want to do it for money, experience, or perhaps a combination. It also depends on your current level. Yew logs have the highest value (for non-members), but if you don't have level 60, you have to practice with other logs until you can cut yew. If you want experience, yew logs are not the best option - cutting them is fairly slow. In that case, try willow or oak.
Basically the same as f2p, except you have some more options available. For example, whereas a f2p player can cut yew logs, you can cut magic logs and oak logs, which are not available for f2p players; in mining, too, there are additional options, etc.
They r only called cursed when in the spirit world. Outside they are called magic logs and are worth about 1k each. It is recommended u cut magic logs, for the requirements are less so in result u cut it faster. Hope it helped
There are many places to cut willow trees in RS, but by far the best place to cut willows is in Draynor, south of Lumbridge. There is about 6 willow trees that can be cut and as a plus, they are about 4 seconds (literally) away from a bank. Another nice but not as great place is by the Lumbridge river on the sections near the general store. There is about 3 trees and a bank in the castle right by.
Yes. In general, a higher woodcutting level not only gives you access to better logs, it also lets you cut them faster.
