I have not had good experiences when I have tried and I am only on 100mg for migraines. It definitely intensifies the effect of the Topamax and i feel completely out of it the next day and I have never been one to be hung over. If I were you I would maybe have one drink and pass on the rest, trust me it is not worth it. Blacked out a majority of the time on minimal drinks. Do not mix! has anyone tried taking Nyquel or sinus meds on Topamax did they have bad side affects?

You really shouldn't just quit Topamax cold turkey. Topamax is a med that has to be tapered off slowly just as you were put on the medecine hopefully. If you were to stop suddenly you could actually cause a siezure which could be very dangerous for you and the baby!

Check with the prescribing neurologist or other physician. Topamax is "ramped up" from a small dosage gradually both because of potential side effects and to measure efficacy. Though one should never stop taking Topamax abruptly, 15mg a day is a very small dosage. Minimum dosages, before increasing to therapeutic dosage, often start at 25mg three times a day.

no when you first start taking it you will lose a couple of pounds at first then the longer your on it you stop losing weight
