It depends on you. If you are friends with her, then do it. If she doesn't know you too well, then you should get closer to her and get to know her a bit. Another option would be to send friend request to her along with many other classmates and friends of yours. If she sent you a friend request and you like her, you have nothing to lose so just do it. Make sure it is actually her before you send or accept the friend request, and not someone else.
