Absolutely. Allergies, or intolerance, can produce an almost endless array of symptoms.
A very common element which can occur naturally in almost any environment is mold. While mold is completely natural, it can be dangerous and should be avoided in most situations. Those who have been exposed to mold could suffer from several different mold allergies. Typical symptoms of mold allergies are quite similar to those of other allergies. Some of the most common symptoms are sniffling, sneezing, wheezing, watery eyes, or developing a rash or hives on the skin. Mold can grow in a variety of places, but is frequently found in damp and warm places in a home. However, it can also grow on food or in nature.

Allergies are a natural reaction that your body has to particles attempting to gain entry to your system. It is a defensive mechanism, though we do not always like what our bodies consider an enemy. In modern times, it has been discovered that people can have an allergy to almost anything. Not just pollen or peanuts, but things like cotton, aluminum and plastics all have corresponding allergies. Some people are even allergic to their own skin or hair. Allergies vary in severity. Some are minor and almost non-existent. Others require a trip to the emergency room if triggered. For this reason, the allergy symptoms also vary greatly with severity. Common allergy symptoms may include sneezing, coughing, cramps or vomiting. These will depend on how you are exposed to the allergen. Sneezing is most common when an allergen is inhaled, and vomiting when an allergen is ingested. These are relatively minor allergy symptoms. Avoiding contact with the trigger can stop these symptoms, but the allergy is not currently life threatening and can probably be treated with over the counter medicines. Moderate allergy symptoms may include a rash, watering eyes or itchy eyes, and trouble breathing. You may need to see a doctor if the symptoms persist or become an inconvenience during daily activities. This allergy may require some prescription medication. The most severe allergic reaction that can occur is called anaphylaxis. This leads to a condition called anaphylactic shock. This occurs when the body encounters an allergen and immediately begins to react. The difference here is that the entire body reacts, every part, as if the allergen is attacking the whole person. The symptoms are swelling, confusion, faintness, vomiting and muscle pain. Hives and other skin changes may occur as well. If a person displays these symptoms, they must seek medical attention immediately. There is always the risk that the swelling will increase and make it impossible for the person to breathe. Allergies can range from a slight itch, to deadly swelling. Never take chances guessing about your health. If you suspect that you have allergies, you should see a doctor and be tested to find out.
First of all I am not a Dr but a parent of a baby with grain allergies. I began to wonder due to a very bumpy rash that was slowly crawling up her legs. They almost looked like little pimples. She did not scratch and they did not seem to bother her. Since I had heard that grain allergies are very common I simply took her off grains. Within a week her legs were clearing up and now a month later they are completely clear. I visited a NAET in my area and she confirmed this allergy.
There is no reason ( other than personal opinion's) why a guy can't get there ears pierced. In this day and age it's almost common place.
As with most birth defects there are many levels of disability from almost nonexistent to severe and life threatening. Since each case of Spina Bifida is as unique as the child who is born with the defect here are a few of the more common symptoms:. paralysis, hydrocephalus, latex allergies (85% of those with SB develop an allergy to latex), learning disabilities (ADD is a common complaint) and bladder and bowel complications.
