over time we change, our goals may be different from our friends, I was best friends with someone for ten years but as time went on our personalities were changing or we had other interests. I hate to say it but we are no longer friends. you may also be a stronger and more caring person than your friend. If you feel that you are in a one sided relationship you need to talk to that person and be honost with them. otherwise you will drift apart. when you approach them commend them for things they have done in the past when they were there for you and let them know that you would like their help more often.
