My boyfriend is shorter than me - and it works out just fine! Nothing wrong with a shorter guy! As long as your height doesn't bother him why should his being shorter bother you? If the roles were reversed and you were shorter there would be no issue to discuss - so why the double standard?
Traditionally women have been (inappropriately) viewed as the sex to be the "dominated" and this is evident in even the tiniest of ways - even in the traditional view of who should be taller than who in the relationship. Height is NOT a prerequisite for a long lasting relationship - having a complimentary personality and chemistry are far more important!
