A cruise to Mexico would most likely mean you would stop in at least one other country as a port of call, so you would get to see more than one culture and country. However, with most cruises to Hawaii, its just of the Hawaiian Islands, which don't get me wrong, are AMAZING, but its only one culture. So it just depends on how much you would like to see. I have used a website, AllthingsCruise.com that has great info on ports of call, excursions, cruise lines and everything else you would need to know. Enjoy.
