technically no. But some teens does because their still not ready or they have really strict parents. I mean you should be out open wit hyour parents because it'll make you closer to them. But....you know........ some teens have reasons of course, some of them worthwhile reasons and some of them are just crappy.
it depends cause some secrets are worth keeping away from your parents for example if you don't like a sweetter or dress your mom got you and you fake it like you say i love it but only you no the secret that you don't and if you tell your mom it will kinda hurt her and for your on good some secrets are good to even keep to your self

∙ 14y agoYes. The only time you should share them is if they are the type that if you don't tell someone could get hurt. For example: if your friend says "I don't want to live anymore." tell a parent, teacher, or counselor. You friend will be mad at you at first, but he/she will thank you later. Use your good discretion and you'll be fine.

So if you really trust that friend and you know they trust you then you should tell them your secrets. but if its a friend that you only talk to every now and then, then it would b best not to tell them your secrets.
