Yes it's always good to give some donation to the Church when the new born is Baptized. It's not a compulsion, but is highly appreciated.
A Pastor shouldn't cost. He should do the work of God for the love on humanity. A donation would be acceptable but a profiteering pastor is a hypocrite.
You have to believe that Jesus is the son of God and that he died as a sacrifice for our sins. Your pastor should give some instruction on baptism before you are baptised.
Some rules for car donation to charity are: One should make sure that the value of their donation is not overstated, the charity has to be a legitimate organisation i.e one should do some research on the organisation before making a donation.
Goodwill will accept the donation of a car. Be sure to check the webiste, goodwill.com, and get vehicle donation standards. You should go to the donations page, then to the donation acceptance guidlines tab on the left.
I have to say that I am not an expert, but I do have my opinion. I think that baptism should happen later(instead of infant baptism) because that is when they actually know what the correct choice is.
the pastor shudnt have a family
Infant baptism is practiced in churches, as they say that nobody should be lost.
There is no worst time for baptism, but it should occur as soon as the person is ready.
Yes. If you are a part of the "priesthood of believers" it is legitimate. Might want to get a pastor to do it though, just to be on the safe side. A Baptism is symbolic and doesn't earn rights or win points, and is not legal or illegal. It is a public profession of Faith. It cannot be done correctly or incorrectly, right or wrong. It is for the recipient. It should be taken with reverence, respectfully and seriously.
Only when referring to the religious sacrament or rite: "Sacrament of Holy Baptism". In referring to the event (e.g. "my child's baptism), it is not.
Generally one wears white for Baptism. If the religion does not do a total immersion, a suit for a boy and a dress for a girl. If there is total immersion, check with the pastor for suggestions. (White becomes see-through when wet.)
