There are always three thumb rules while selecting college
1.Best stream in best college
2.Best stream
3.Best college
you have to make a decision very carefully while you are in situation number 1 then there is no need to think but when have to choose between 2 and 3 then decide on the basis of college first like for example if you are getting a computer science in a state college and getting electrical or mechanical in any IIT or NIT then go for IIT and NIT instead of computer science in state college this will effect your career goth in future as well as package

mechanical engineering
it is a worst course in engineering i have ever known.. :( . it is like the civil engineering but has no much scope all over the world. so i suggest u all not to read this subject. you can prefer civil engineering to it.. you will never have good experience in it.. so better do not prefer this subject..
That, depends entirely on your own opinion. However, as I prefer working with machines, I would choose mechanical engineering.
Yes NIT Jalandhar is a good college and you should prefer civil engineering in NIT rather than biotech in Thapar
Autonomous College are the top few colleges which have build their reputation over time and in most cases should be preferred over non autonomous colleges. Autonomous college have to design their own couses and administer the tests. Also they do not express the candiates ability in percentage but in CGPA that stands for cumilative grade point average. I Would like to suggest ELECTRONICS because electronics engineering having a multi-engineering qualities because if we study electronics engineering we have a choice we can go towards communication side, control side, electrical side but the differeceis that a telecom engineer only can prefer its own field so,i would like to suggest you to go with electronics engineering..
Bits hyderabad without any doubt.
Acc. to me you should prefer MIET Meerut or NIET Greater Noida.
They are just different. The choice depends on your interests and the opportunities available according to your eligibility criteria such as the cut-off marks obtained and the rank of the college that offers these courses. A civil engineer needs to work in the construction field and if you prefer that it would be a nomadic kind of job moving from a finished project to another new project to start. If you prefer structural design engineering, then you can work from an office preparing the structural designs and drawings. Electronics and communication engineering has a different job environment where you have to work with the circuits and communication cables, satellites, relay stations, remote sensing gadgets, computers, wireless communication systems, etc.
If you are planning to go on for a master's degree, check with the college to see which one of the tests they prefer for you to take. If you are going to work, then you should work on passing the Professional Engineering Licensing test for your state. I majored in ME as well. I would suggest taking the GRE if you're planning on going to graduate school for engineering. If you're interested on the business side and plan to get an MBA sometime in the future, then GMAT. Of course you can always get your MBA later after some work experience.

You could, but I wouldn't prefer it. It's better if you actually ask her in person.
